My new favorite hair tool!

I have naturally curly hair, so Ive always craved pin straight hair.
When I was younger I absolutely hated my hair curly. I just never knew what to do with it.
So, I would straighten it every day..
But in the last few years Ive really grown to love my curly hair, and have been playing around with it.
Using some gel and leaving it naturally curly, as well as using styling tools like curling irons.

The one thing, however, I hated about curling my hair with an iron, is it takes forever, and I dont really love the type of curl you get with a curling iron.
So Ive been dying to get myself a curling wand, or clipless curling iron.

Weeellllll...I FINALLY GOT ONE! :)
Thanks to the Folica Review Program, I got the
The T3 SinglePass Whirl

The SinglePass Whirl allows you to quickly and easily create the gorgeous, natural looking waves you’ve always wanted.
This is by farrrr the easiest styling tool I have ever used, and even for beginners, its so simple to learn.
All you do is section off your hair, hold the wand vertically, and wrap your hair around it, away from your face.
You can either let the hair twist as you wrap, or straighten it out, depending on which look you prefer.
Its perfect for short and long hair.
And I cant tell you enough how simple this is to use.
With T3's single pass technology, you can get beautiful curls in literally minutes.
Rather than the hours you spend with a traditional curling iron or curlers.

I absolutely love the curls you get using this thing!
With a curling iron with the clip, it always flattens the curls, but you dont get that here. You get a natural looking spiral.
The secret to getting a perfectly professional finish is all in the technique: Section, Position, Wrap and Release your way to soft, sensuous results in seconds.

What I LOVE about this product:
- Adjustable heat.
- 9 Foot swivel cord.
- Tourmaline.
- Ionic
- Ceramic Infrared Energy.
- Tapered barrel.
- Single Pass
- Auto Off
- Cool tip, and heat resistant glove.

What I HATE about this product.
- I honestly cant think of anything I dont like, let alone hate, about this product.
(And that is my 100% honest opinion.)

You can buy this at Folica.com, T3micro.com, or at your local Ulta or Sephora; for around $130.
To find out more about this, and other T3 products go to Folica.com/Brands/T3.

DIY Citrus Facial Scrub

The peel of citrus fruits (such as oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits) contain skin rejuvenating essential oils. The acids in the oil help loosen the dead top layer of skin, this scrub you can make at home will help slough off the dead skin, leaving your face feeling softer and smoother.

For this at home facial scrub you'll need:
1 tablespoon dried citrus peel.
1/2 cup plain yogurt.
1 teaspoon honey.
1/4 cup vitamin E oil.
2 tablespoons cornmeal.

Chop the peel into smaller pieces, then grind up in the food processor.
Add the rest of the ingredients and pulse until just combined. (careful not to over mix)
Apply to damp face, massaging into your skin using circular motions. (avoiding eyes)
Rinse with warm water, then splash face with cold water to close pores.

You can store this scrub in an air tight container in your refrigerator up to a week.

Green Tea

Everybody knows how good green tea is for your body. It has natural antioxidants, has been proven to help burn calories, and well, it tastes pretty good too. But what many, including me up until about a week ago, dont know..is its good for your skin too!
I recently tried to St Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea collection. Its four new products:
Body Wash, Body Scrub, Facial Cleanser, and Facial Scrub.

These products with skin-soothing green tea, gently fight blemishes and reduces redness & irritation caused by acne.
They are all
-Oil Free
-Dermatologist Tested
-Hypoallergenic
-Non-Comedogenic
-Not Tested on Animals
-Do not contain animal ingredients
-Formulated without Parabens and Phthalates

If you guys are frequent readers of mine, you might know that I have very stubborn, problematic skin. Ive had super oily, acne prone skin basically all my life. Ive tried so many different cleansers and products that say theyre made for oily skin, but I still have had so much trouble finding products that really work for my skin.

Well, Ive only been using the Green Tea Scrub for about four or so days now, and I can already see a major difference. Ive tried the St. Ives Apricot Scrub before, and I know it works really well for a lot of people, but it never worked that great for me. I love facial scrubs, so I was all for trying this new product. (plus I am always looking for new natural products) So I received the whole Green Tea line, and have been trying out the products for a few days now. I wanted to try each product for a week each, but I have absolutely fallen in love with the scrub, and HAVE to share it with you!

So, the facial scrub is nothing like the apricot scrub, if youve ever tried it, it has more of a coarse grainy texture, as for the green tea one, its more like soft sand and its, for me, a lot more gentle on the skin.
I normally use my Clarisonic brush with a normal cleanser, but since this is a scrub, the brush with the scrub would probably be too harsh, and irritate my skin. So Ive just been using the scrub on my hands or a wash cloth using circular motions.
As soon as I rinsed the first time, I knew this was going to be a new favorite of mine. It immediately left my skin feeling softer, smoother, and cleaner than almost any facial cleanser Ive used in the past.
It leaves my skin feeling so soft and oil free through out the day, most cleansers only working for a few hours. I noticed my pores looking smaller, and having less black heads and blemishes. Something Ive been trying to do with so many products for so long now.

You would think a product like this would be more on the expensive side, but like all St Ives products its soo reasonably priced, about $5 at most places.
Just another reason I LOVE this product!

As for the rest of the products though, I honestly havent used them enough to give my honest opinion on them, but Im sure, if I love this one as much as I do, the others will be just as great! But Look forward to my review on them in the next week or two. :)
